Cory left for New Orleans at the end of August. He is scheduled to return Sept. 24th. But I have learned long ago not to get my hopes up on any specific dates.
Brock and Josie are handling him being away best they can. Josie usually atleast once a day runs to the door screaming "Daddy's home." Brock is looking forward to a promised new gun from daddy when he gets back.
I haven't been good about blogging, well honestly I have been horrible. I haven't posted anything since Josie was born and she is 2 now. But I decided to seize the moment and just do it.
We are expecting baby number 3 Dec. 18th. The ultrasound revealed it is a boy. Their is an excitement in all of us, but a fear lingering as well. How can we handle being a family of 5? I am certain God is preparing us now, and He will carry is through.
We have had some excitement in our home recently. Brock asked Jesus into his hear last Saturday and I couldn't be more excited. He very sweetly started asking me questions as we lay in bed. He decided to pray the prayer of salvation! The next morning on the way to church I see him in the rearview mirror praying. Very curious, I ask what is he doing. The reply brought tears to my eyes as well as laughter. "Mom, I am talking to Jesus, I want to make sure He likes it in my heart and wants to stay forever."
Josie has grown like a weed in the last 6 months. She is talking all the time and Cory and I just sit back and laugh. When she is talking to babies she turns on this deep voice and talks really slow. Chapstick is her latest obsession. She has multiple sticks all over the house and in several purses. She is such a girly girl. Toe nails are always painted and she is asking for her ears pierced.
Never did I imagine my heart could love 3 people so much. Cory has been a wonderful husband and mate for 7 years. He is a fantastic father and provider. We love him so much and miss him terribly when he is gone. Love you babe!!
